“Other than your imagination, there are no limits.  This has been somewhat our unspoken motto.  I try to design everything as if it was never made before.  I’ve seen so many other leather shops that get into one field or another only to just end up copying what’s already being done!  Motorcycle leathers all look the same.  Bondage leather all looks the same.  Doesn’t ANYONE have anything NEW??”, says Robert. “I’m making shackle cuffs now with hand-forged hardware – it’s not some ‘break-through’ technology – but it’s something I don’t see anyone else doing.  Like our Pirate Bodice – it’s just a leather bodice… but the back slopes down into a full train of flowing leather – you should see a woman walk across the room in one of these!  Talk about DRAMATIC!!  Everyone raves about vampire movies and fantasy movies and how great the costuming is – I watch those movies and say, ‘I can do that…’ or ‘that’s neat, but it would look even better if…’ and off I go crunching designs in my head….  It has to be better, sexier, or just different – we’re not another import warehouse that hangs whatever Taiwan sent us.”
